Earthenware Candlestick Holder

I believe this little fella to be from Nova Scotia. There are no markings, but he was with the Lantz piece in this collection.  His humble shape and coloring would look cozy just about anywhere- like your fireplace, coffee table or bookshelf. The opening can hold a fat taper with a 1.25" opening.  The overall height is 3 1/2".
